Biography
Mr. Kossoff has practiced civil litigation for over fifteen years, with an emphasis in business, employment, entertainment, malpractice, and personal injury matters. He has successfully represented individuals, small businesses and corporations in both state and federal courts, administrative and arbitration proceedings.
Mr. Kossoff successfully represented insurance broker Keenan & Associates defending negligent misrepresentation claims concerning property and liability insurance for numerous school districts in California. He also successfully represented Keenan & Associates prosecuting trade secret and employment claims.
Mr. Kossoff has successfully represented individuals in wrongful termination, whistleblower, and discrimination and retaliation, including claims against The Walt Disney Company, Warner Bros., Clear Channel Communications, and The Tribune Company.
Mr. Kossoff has represented individuals and entities both in prosecuting and defending legal malpractice, real estate, property damage, and personal injury claims. He also maintains an active entertainment practice, representing individuals and entities in breach of contract claims and intellectual property matters.
Mr. Kossoff has successfully appeared before the California Court of Appeal and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mr. Kossoff is a graduate of Duke University (B.A., cum laude, 1987) and the UCLA School of Law (J.D. 1990).
